Help Steve Chinn Through His Cancer Journey

When God tells you to do something, you do it! My family is going through a lot right now, but the hardest thing is what’s happening to my brother, Steve Chinn. He had an incident at work that put him in the hospital. They found a tumor on his brain, and on May 5th, he had brain surgery. After a biopsy, the doctor did testing and Steve has Glioblastomas, a very aggressive brain cancer type grade 4. Only 1% of people who get it survive, and his life expectancy is around 5-15 months. In the meantime, he is going to chemo/radiation therapy 5 days a week for 6 weeks first round. Eventually, he will be sent to Texas for clinical trial testing. He hasn’t been able to work and just got approved for emergency disability but won’t receive a check until November! Until then, he needs money coming in. His wife, Angel, and I are taking turns taking him to therapy as the doctor does not want him driving. With time a precious commodity right now, Steve needs help! I have had several people ask how they can help out, and this is one way you can. I am starting this GoFundMe to help Steve with basic bills, food, gas money to and from therapy, and most of all, making preparations for when he passes away.

Y’all - this is my baby brother, and this shouldn’t be happening. We pray to God he will be healed and very well can be. We believe, but we are also realists. If it is his chosen time, then we are making preparations. This is a hard situation for our family, but we are strong and know God is for us.
