Inspire Arusha/Tanzania - Women’s Center
Inspire Tanzania is raising funds to build a needed women's center in Arusha, Tanzania to assist and promote women entrepreneurs to start small businesses.
Women in Tanzania do not have the same advantages as most women around the world. There is a great need for support to help women become self-sufficient to provide for their families and escape abusive relationships. A lot of the women in Tanzania will find themselves dependent on husbands or older males in their family for support and are forced into young marriages to relieve this burden from the families. They are often abandoned by their husbands or find themselves in abusive relationships with no way out or means to support themselves or their children. Being put into such dire circumstances can force them to give up their children to a local orphanage so they can get an education and enough food to eat and keep them off the streets, with no other options available to help them out of their situations it's easy to understand why they would take such drastic measures, they want the best for their children as any mother would want, even if they can't provide it.
We want to help make a change and Inspire as many women to start small businesses and become self-sufficient and keep families together and change the world, one woman at a time.
Our goal at Inspire Tanzania is to help as many women as we can to become financially independent by mentoring and helping them start their own local small businesses through training classes and small business grants with start-up financial costs and follow-up mentoring support to guarantee their future success.
The first goal is to build our Women's Center!
