Help Stacy (Sunshine) Fight Cancer Once Again
Donation protected
WE NEED YOUR HELP! Our kind, smart, bubbly, strong Stacy’s cancer has spread from her colon to her liver and now to her lung.
Stacy has always had a positive attitude through all of this, but she needs our help. She just had two lung surgeries in the last six months and just a few days after going home she is suffering from her 8th bowel obstruction. This next year she is going to be fighting for her life once again undergoing chemo and radiation.
In May 2017 the Cancer spread to her liver and she received a liver resection in August, 2017.
Stacy is so amazingly resilient that in May 2018, she received her Master Degree in Zoology from Miami University of Ohio!
In February 2019, the cancer spread again to her lung. Her medical team performed a lung wedge resection in July, 2019. At that time, the doctors were unaware that the cancer had spread to a nearby lymph node embedded in her lung. On January 2, 2020, they performed a lobectomy removing the lower left lobe of her lung, as opposed to a piece of the lung as in the wedge resection.
Once Stacy heals from this last surgery, she is going to undergo chemo and radiation again to try and keep the cancer away. There is a 10% chance the cancer will not return. She has trust in God and her doctors. With the help of her friends, family and that contagious positive attitude she has always kept, she is going to kick this cancers butt once again.
I am positive that Stacy and Jeff will be so appreciative of their friends, family and anyone else that can lend a helping hand, whether it’s sharing this or making any type of donation.
Thank you!
