On September 9th, 2025, twenty-six year teaching veteran Stacy Williamson entered her high school classroom in Kansas City and began her school day as she did every other. Her day ended differently, however. Stacy was hospitalized after being brutally assaulted by a student at the school.

Stacy has since been released from the hospital, but has a long road of recovery ahead of her. Her body needs to heal physically and emotionally and she needs your support.

To say that Stacy wears many hats is an understatement. Beyond being a dedicated educator, she is a wife to her husband, Shawn, and proud mother to two beautiful daughters. Additionally, she serves as a critical care paramedic in the city's urban core on most weekends. Her tireless service has extended to students and fellow educators for the better part of three decades. She has also dutifully served the Missouri State Teachers Association in many leadership roles as local, regional, and state president positions.

Stacy's income has been drastically cut as she will only receive a fraction of her teaching salary and no income from her work as a paramedic. Let's support Stacy in her time of recovery so that she can continue to be the light she is to so many.
