After months of cramping sensations and bloating, Sierra Rae Warner was “originally” diagnosed with Stage 1 Ovarian Cancer on November 15th, 2024. Shortly after with many painful labs and her surgery on December 5th 2024, the doctors revealed that her cancer grew to be Stage 3 Germ Cell (Yolk Sac) Ovarian Cancer. The cancer was spreading rapidly. She had a cyst on her right ovary which grew to be a size of a large cantaloupe and the cancer was spreading to her lymph nodes.
Sierra is being treated with aggressive BEP Chemo due to her age and the rare cancer type. She is currently in her third cycle. Each cycle consists of three weeks. One week where for five days straight she receives chemo six hours per day. On the two following weeks, every Tuesday, she continues with an hour of chemo. Sierra’s physical condition has changed with complete hair loss, lack of appetite, and a surgical central line port in her chest as her arms could not bear the IVs anymore.
Sierra is only 25 years old. She loses her medical insurance coverage this year and we fear for her continued medical costs. We pray she can hold onto her medical team who have cared for her throughout this traumatic chapter. Anything helps for our babygirl. She is strong, beautiful, and her story is not over.
