This morning, our dear friend Shawn tragically passed away after collapsing early Sunday morning. He had been struggling with heart problems for some time, and despite doctors’ best efforts, they were unable to revive him.

Shawn was more than just a husband—he was Sherry’s best friend, her rock, and her partner in life since they began dating back in November of 1995. They shared nearly 30 years of love, laughter, and unwavering support for one another, and together they raised their son, Zach. They built a life filled with kindness, generosity, and selflessness. They’ve always been the kind of people who would drop everything to help someone in need—family, friend, or stranger.

Now, in the wake of this unimaginable loss, Sherry is facing the challenges of everyday life without Shawn by her side. Along with the emotional weight, there are many practical burdens—household needs, bills, and planning a gathering to honor Shawn’s life and memory.
