Six weeks ago, our dear brother and friend, Shawn’s life changed dramatically when he suddenly lost all feeling from the waist down. He was admitted to Clovis Community Hospital where they told him that several of his organs were close to completely failing. After a tumultuous six weeks, his body began to stabilize and he was transferred to a Physical Rehabilitation to begin a long recovery journey, which will begin with relearning how to walk.
Another major part of his recovery is his journey through sobriety. While he has been suffering from addiction for the last year, he has incredibly been without a drink for over eight weeks now.
For those of you who know Shawn, you already know what a beautiful soul he is. He is one of the most loving and kind hearted people that I have ever known. He will need lots of help on his journey, in the outside world, with living facilities, bills, etc. Let’s gather around him and give him all the support we can. The more, the better!
If you would like to help, this is the most direct way that you can support him through all of this. Please only donate if you can, and either way, make sure to let Shawn know he is in your prayers!
Thank you all. Much love to you!
