Help Send Vanessa On a Service Trip

Dear friend's and family,
Each year, my new school, Trinity College, takes part in a week of community service and offers two service-learning based opportunities to volunteer abroad. The trip I would like to take part in is called the Island school Excursion in Eleuthera, Bahamas. During this trip, we will take part in educational activities as well as volunteer work. Some of things we will be participating in include: learning how the Island school stores water, learning about the process of pyrolysis, volunteering to help build eco-friendly buildings, separating waste for the Island, and many more.
Community service and helping others has been a developing passion of mine. There's a lot of problems in the world such of lack of clean water, hunger, quality education and many more. The UN, hopes to solve all of these problems by 2030, however, that doesn't mean teenagers, like me, can't take action. It is one of my life-time goals to leave a footprint on this world, by changing and taking the fight in making a difference in the world. By going on this trip, my exposure to the type of lives people live in will broaden, and I will learn about how people conserve water, and save electricity, things we all take advantage for abroad. I will also come back changed and inspired, with the ability to share my experience with my peers, hopefully inspiring them to want to make a difference in this world too.
With this being said, the donations will be directly proceeded for the funding of this trip. I will need to have this by November, 30, 2018, as that's when the trip embarks. I hope you all will help take me on this journey, and your support will be extremely appreciated.
