Help Send Our Tokay Athletes to the Nike Outdoor Nationals

We are thrilled to share that several talented student-athletes from Tokay High have qualified for the prestigious Nike Outdoor National Meet in Eugene, Oregon, taking place June 19–22! These young athletes have put in countless hours of hard work, training, and dedication to earn their spots among the nation’s best, and now, they have the incredible opportunity to showcase their skills on a national stage.

Shaun Roberts, Quin Leal, Brandon Le, and Rafael Salcedo will be representing our team in both the 4x100 and 4x200 relays. These boys have worked so hard all season, and their speed and teamwork have earned them this national stage.

Kayleen Tuavao has qualified in the shot put and discus, she’s a powerhouse in the throws and we’re so proud of her strength and dedication.

Daniel Barajas has also earned his spot to compete in the 3000m! His grit and determination on the distance side have truly paid off.

Simon Kolber will be competing in the boys pole vault. He is also our current school record holder!

We’re still waiting to hear back about a few more athletes who may qualify, and we’re hopeful we’ll be adding to our Nationals team soon!

They’ll be competing under our club affiliation, representing not just our school but our entire community. This meet is more than just a competition… it's a life-changing experience, offering exposure, inspiration, and a chance to shine at one of the highest levels of high school track and field.

But we need your help to get them there.

Travel, lodging, registration fees, and meals quickly add up, making this a costly trip for our athletes and their families. We know times can be tough, and it’s never easy to ask, but every single donation, no matter the amount, makes a difference.
