HELP SEND GABY TO THE ROYAL COLLEGE OF ART!

Hi, my name is Gaby Mlynarczyk and I am raising money to help me get my Graduate Degree in Ceramics at the number 1 art school in the world, The Royal College of Art in London.

I am lucky enough that I was picked as one of ten people for this program out of thousands of applications. It is of course a dream come true for me! One of my life long goals has been to study at the school and get qualified so that I can go on and teach Ceramics at University level, hopefully becoming a leader of education myself.

My plan in the year 2023/2024 that I'll be studying there, is to start to do research on how to make Ceramics as an industry more sustainable with a view to continue this at PHD level. The inspiration for my thesis are Glass Sponges of the Pacific Ocean that are losing their habitat due to deep sea mining.

I have been awarded the Charlotte Fraser Scholarship to cover the cost of school fees only, but will need funding to help me move from Los Angeles to London, buy school supplies and help pay rent, the RCA requires a 40 hour study week at least in order to pass.

I'm a daughter of Polish immigrants who were persecuted during World War 2 and grew up with very little but my ideas, work ethic and creative impetus. This artistic drive has helped me to get to this point in my life, where I have the opportunity to make an educational dream come true.
