This is our last chance to help Scott Popa correct how the corrupt social services and legal system that has wronged this good and godly man. He was wrongly accused and convicted of a crime he did not commit and Scott needs help obtaining a legal advocate/attorney to highlight the errors that prevented his exoneration earlier. The court has already validated his innocence by granting a Hearing, however, he needs legal representation as the State has denied him a public defender. (This came as a shock to us as we fully expected the State to comply with the Judges' order to provide representation or we would have set up this account much earlier)
For over 28 years now, Scott has been our family's dear, dear friend. He is like a brother to Tim & I and an special Uncle to our 4 children. Scott is kind, sweet, hardworking, (he had his own successful carpet business that I utilized personally as well as professionally), honest, trustworthy, a wonderful Fiance' to Heidi, (they were to be married and this horror happened), and he's always cared for his elderly father who lives with Heidi and their young daughter.
Scott has family and friends (at least some that have stuck with him and kept the faith) and we are asking for your compassion to help return him home. He has suffered much loss including family bonds with his youngest child,(she desperately needs her Daddy home!) a profitable business, and five years of his freedom.
This is a desperate plea because without assistance, he and his loved ones are all but lost. Please bless him by donating as generously as you are able and help us fight the bias and corrupt legal system that wronged him and his family.
