Help Schannell Mah's Family Recover Bartlesville Car Theft
Donation protected
My name is Schannelle Mah. Me and my spouse and my 13-year-old daughter and our dog. My vehicle was stolen by 4 teenagers and recovered on a high-speed chase in Bartlesville, OK on 10/26/2024. We had just bought a car for our family and both of us just got a job in Oklahoma City. So, we were currently staying in a motel for about 3 weeks until we could find jobs and save up enough to get a place. I was waiting on my first check to pay for our car insurance. The day I got my first paycheck is when my car got stolen. Thank God Bartlesville police in Oklahoma were able to recover the car. They had to go on a high-speed chase and lay the spikes out because the 4 teenagers who were in my car would not stop for police. Along the way, they hit a few cars and popped 3 tires. Thank God none of the 4 teenagers were hurt while in the pursuit. I am very grateful the engine still runs. But because we weren’t able to get the insurance due to it being stolen, I won’t be able to claim any damages. The impoundment fees were $850.00 because my car was impounded on Saturday and we couldn’t get it out until Monday of Clifford Towing in Bartlesville. So, me and my spouse have no way of getting to work and we can’t afford to stay in the motel until we can get tires and rims for the car and ended up moving back to Tulsa with my mom, which she only gets enough to get by, she doesn’t have a car to loan us and can’t help much with getting a set of tires and rims, which is the main thing my car needs because it’s still drivable. And also funds so we can go back and live in Oklahoma City and get a motel while we look for jobs and we won’t be homeless over there. If anyone can help, me and my family would appreciate it so much. Thank you,
