Help Save Robert and Snitzel’s Home

Donation protected
Robert is a 54-year-old man with mild developmental disabilities and Snitzel is his faithful old dachshund.  They live in an old mobile home where Robert grew up and has spent most of his adult life.  He works in custodial services overseeing other individuals with more serious developmental disabilities. He has worked hard his whole adult life and has always tried to be a good member of the community. The home represents his family, birthdays, holidays, and his parents - both of whom have passed away.

Since his mother passed away recently, Robert and Snitzel have been trying to carry on with the home. Unfortunately, the age of the home and the large amounts of rain are making this more and more difficult.  He has already had to replace power lines and has had to turn off his propane to his house due to a leak in the tubing.  The rains have eroded the land under the home to the point that it is at a tilt and may eventually cause serious structural damage.

It is estimated that it will take $15,000 to level and buttress the house and repair some of the aging water, gas, and electric lines. Although he works hard, Robert is unable to raise that kind of funding to save this important part of his life.

We would like to invite everyone to help us save Robert and Snitzel's home! Look into your hearts and see how much it would mean to you to save your memories and keep your family at home and safe.
