I spent my career saving lives… please now help save mine!
As Britain’s longest serving lifeboat inaugurated in 1933, over my 41 years in service I was launched 278 times and saved 144 lives.
At Dunkirk in 1940 as part of Operation Dynamo I rescued over 2000 servicemen from the beaches over 3 days and 2 nights under constant air attack.
Now I need to ask for your help to save me.
My aim is to ask the same number of people as I rescued from the Dunkirk beaches to donate £10 each and have their names displayed on board as a recognition of their support.
After years of being dragged along the beach my bottom needs to be restored properly to a standard that will mean I can survive for many years to come.

Not wanting to simply become a museum piece funds are to make me seaworthy again, hopefully allowing me to make as many appearances as possible to let people of all ages visit, come aboard and learn about both parts of my history, as well as letting groups book days out aboard.
