Help Savana beat Breast Cancer
Donación protegida
Savana has been fighting an unknown medical condition for a few years now. She mysteriously passes out at random times without any discernable cause. This has dramatically affected her life as she cannot drive a vehicle, be alone with her kids, or do basic things to keep her home and family clean and healthy without the possibility of her losing consciousness.
The doctors were stumped... they told her to lose weight, and she did. When they told her it was not enough, she went through gastric sleeve surgery to further reduce her weight. While the surgery was successful and she lost a large amount of weight, she still was randomly passing out. The doctors put Savana on a handful of medicine, adjusted doses, swapped out ones that were not working with others... over the years; nothing has helped. Savana and her husband Kris have spent all of their savings trying to find the issue and resolve this problem.
Then, a couple of weeks ago, Savana found a lump in her breast. It was tender and uncomfortable so she immediately went to her doctor. It was diagnosed as Mastitis, which didn't seem right. Our mother disagreed and took her to get a second opinion where the doctor was concerned and ordered a biopsy. Those results came back recently... it was cancer, Savana had tested positive for HER2-Positive Breast Cancer.
Savana is devastated and scared. She loves her family, loves life, and wants to be healthy again. Savana was an avid athlete when she was younger, she works out (to the best of her ability) she eats as healthy as she can, and adores her family.
I'm on GoFundMe to ask for help, my parents and I have given as much as we can to help with Savana's medical bills, but they still are tapped out. Now with a Cancer fight ahead and their deductibles restarting at the beginning of 2022... they are in a rough place.
I have no idea how much it will cost to fight Cancer... so my apologies if the amount seems too high, or too low. I just know that they need more help than my family and I can provide.
My hope is that there is a silver lining to all of this... HER2-positive cancer is very treatable and has a better prognosis than other types of Cancer (see the May Clinic link below for more information) but I really hope that when Savana pull through this, her random blackouts go away. I can help but hope that this is all connected and that her fight to get back to "normal" will be over and she will walk out of the hospital having beat both Cancer and the unknown ailment that takes away her ability to have a normal life.
Any help would be highly appreciated. If you can help out monetarily, any amount is appreciated. If you are not in a position to help monetarily, please share this and spread awareness for cancer as a whole.
