Help empower Sarah's aspirations in sport and and school
Donación protegida
Hi I'm Ali, a former sports journalist for the ABC.
Last year I wrote a story about 12-year-old Sarah that captured the hearts of ABC audiences.
Sarah is a gifted darts player in Papua New Guinea.
She is the youngest member (by far!) of the predominately male National Capital District Darts Association.
Sarah is competing at a regional and national level, against men and women more than 3 times her age.

Sarah is extraordinarily talented at this legitimate sport. Did you know Darts has a future in the Pacific Games, and maybe the Commonwealth Games?
Sarah is currently seeking corporate sponsorship, and her family needs a bit of support to help keep her darts dream alive.
Sarah is also a straight-A student.
Keeping Sarah in school, competing in a sport, as well as providing for two siblings, including one with special needs is tough, but especially so in Papua New Guinea.

Sarah brings so much joy and inspiration to the PNG darts world, and the idea that she might have to give it up because of finances is heartbreaking.

Let's support Sarah to take some pressure off her family.
I want to raise enough money to see her through a year of darts, and some of her schooling as well.
The money raised will cover uniforms, flights and accommodation, equipment, fees, school books and fees for next year.
The funds will go directly to a trust account managed by Sarah's mother, Isabell -- and I've personally verified this account.
