Help Sage Run Again-She Saved Me, It’s My Turn To Save Her

Hi, my name is Samantha, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart. My sweet girl, Sage, recently tore both of her ACLs, and without surgery, she won’t be able to run, play, or live the happy, carefree life she deserves.

Sage isn’t just a dog—she’s my best friend, my rock, and my biggest source of comfort. I rescued her from a bad home when she was just 5 months old, but in truth, we saved each other. Over the past year and a half, I’ve faced unimaginable loss, losing two immediate family members. Through every tear, every sleepless night, and every moment of grief, Sage has been by my side, her wagging tail and goofy personality reminding me that love and joy still exist.

Now, she needs me more than ever. Her TPLO surgeries will cost a staggering $12,000—an amount that, despite my best efforts, I simply can’t afford on my own. It breaks my heart to see her in pain, struggling to walk when all she wants to do is chase a ball or greet me at the door like she always has.
