Help Ryder Fight Infection and Care for Her Puppies
Donation protected

On June 4th, Ryder gave birth to 4 healthy corgi puppies and it was smooth sailing. On Friday, June 19th, Ryder was showing signs of mastitis and had pus coming out of one of her mammary glands. Our vet gave us some medicine to help fight this and the infection seemed to get better on the outside.
On June 23rd, Ryder started having lethargy, high fever, was throwing up and did not act like herself at all. We rushed her to the ER and she stayed in the ICU overnight because her infection had spread and gotten worse. They ran all kinds of tests on our girl and told us that her white cell count is dangerously low (her body wasn't fighting off the infection) and that she was headed towards sepsis.
With four 3-week-old puppies, we couldn't stay with her all night and were sent home with bottles and a can of milk. We couldn't sleep a wink last night being so scared for our baby girl. We woke up and headed to see her and she is a little bit better, her fever has gone down and she was able to eat some canned chicken this morning. They have had her hooked up to IV's with fluids and antibiotics and other helpful things since we got there last night.
We are continuing to feed the pups and care for them as we worry for our baby. She is 3 weeks postpartum and we never imagined something like this. It has taken a toll on us emotionally, physically and financially. We are so very worried and are praying for the best possible outcome we can get.
We are going to go visit her in a bit once we are done feeding the puppies and tending to them. With the hospital bills, the milk replacers and everything, it has added up to so much. We want to bring our girl back home healthy. So, I please ask you from the bottom of our hearts, if you cannot donate, please say a prayer for our baby and share our story.
She is only 3 years old and so full of life, so spunky and funny, and we need our cuddly girl back home safely and healthy. Thank you so very much for anything and everything.
****Since our Gofundme launched we have made updates throughout our hospital stay via Facebook. (Kaycee Loiselle) please keep sharing our story to get this around to help with medical expenses and care for Ryders Puppies! We are truly grateful for all donations, prayers & shares we have recieved for our baby. We can't thank everyone enough for the love, kindness and support we have been shown these past few days from family to friends to strangers to our community. Our family is definetely feeling the love.
