Help Rural Females Menstruate Amidst Covid-19

Donation protected
The current COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted the ability of females in Uganda to access sanitary pads and towels. In the current crisis, restriction of movement and the closure of essential services means that for millions of women and girls, managing their periods is more difficult than ever. Menstruation does not stop for the pandemic. Therefore, it is our mission at Wilmat Development Foundation (WDF) to provide and distribute sanitary towels/pads to 150 young girls and teenage mothers who have been unable to access sanitary products. Helping females live without shame and enabling them to fully participate in their lives. Because with the immense struggles already imposed on them by the pandemic, they shouldn’t have to worry about their periods too.

Our goal is to raise $2,000 to provide menstrual kits to 150 rural girls. With your donations we are able to build a community where no female is limited by her period. Please donate to help young females access the necessary sanitary products needed to manage their menstruation hygiene and health.
