I'll never forget that day that my mom broke the news to us. She called a family meeting.
She came in the room so calm and gentle as if it was just a normal day.
With a smile on her face she ottered the words that would forever change how we view life together as a family.
The room stood still as no one knew that severity of the situation at hand. She laughed about it and attempted to down play it as any good mom would do.
This is my mom journey unfold
As pain in her left arm grew progressively worst, she was prompted to visit the doctor. Prior to the nagging pain, she was involved in weight-lifting at the gym. So when she visited the doctor, she speculated that the pain was as a result of the weights. Hence, she prescribed her some painkillers that brought little to no relief.
The following day after taking a bath, she laid on the bed trying to move her left arm. She accidentally hit her left breast and felt a lump The pain was unbearable. At that moment, she immediately had a feeling that it was the dreaded demon, cancer.
She then went back to the doctor two days later and she recommended that she do a monogram. The results from the monogram were not good and she was instructed immediately to get a biopsy, which she did on June 19, 2019.
By July 2019, she was diagnosed with stage two aggressive breast cancer she did her surgery on October 4, 2019 where the two breast were removed ( Double mastectomy ) 53 lymph nodes were removed from her arm that left her with lymphedema in the arm

On road to chemotherapy began in February 2020. So far, she had done 14 chemotherapy treatments and has 4 more treatments to go. At present she had to stop chemotherapy treatment due to low heart rate.
The doctor's as now request for her to get a MIR done because of a none stop pain in her lower back and hip
This journey is financially draining as we have to provide $80,000 for her chemotherapy treatment, radiation and other related expenses. Your donation would give us an opportunity to complete the required well-needed treatments on the way to her beating this dreaded demon, cancer.
My mom had shown us that she believes in the father above to see her throughout this
