Help Rose volunteer abroad in Costa Rica

Hi! My name is Rose Alexander and I am a freshman at UMass Amherst. I recently traveled to Africa for 3 weeks on an overland trip where I camped throughout Kenya and Tanzania. After coming home and reflecting on my trip, I was greatly impacted by the children I had met. I then decided instead of going on vacations and trips, I would rather give back by traveling to countries and communities that may be in need of help, specifically with childcare. In march, during my spring break, I will be traveling to Costa Rica to volunteer with the children in San Jose. I will focus on improving the outcomes for children with difficult backgrounds. I will be working one-on-one with the children at the daycares and schools, organizing games and activities, providing education around hygiene, assisting with homework and helping with their morning and nightly routines. Any donations would be super helpful, especially for me to travel to Costa Rica and buy anything necessary for the children while I am based there.  Again I am so grateful for any donations and thank you for reading/sharing my story!
