Help Rosa get to her Mom!
Spende geschützt
Hey Everyone
My Mom Dawn A 55-year-old Hay River mother and grandmother with advanced COPD — chronic obstructive pulmonary disease — is breathing on her own after undergoing a double lung transplant in Edmonton on Thursday, February 22 at the UofA Hospital by a wonderful Donor from B.C.
I am currently residing in Dartmouth, N.S with my 2 Children ages 2.5 years old & infant. I need to fly to My Mom across the country to be with her, she has run into complications after her big surgery, it is worrisome. She needs me and I need her.
We will be living at her apartment and helping her when she leaves the hospital until she's ready for all of us to go back to Hay River.
I sincerely would be grateful and appreciate so much if anyone can help donate anything to help me get to Edmonton from Halifax to be with my amazing Mother.
I will be using the donations for a flight for Myself & My 2.5 Year old, my infant is free, my luggage, food for the flight and groceries when we arrive in Edmonton to stay at My Mom's apartment while she is still in the ICU at the UofA Hospital.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart, if you can't donate can you please help me by sharing my page to your Facebook Timeline!
I haven’t done an update on my Mother as things have not been going well.
We need a lot of prayers and support as she is having many complications during her recovery.
Her lungs have collapsed a few days ago and they had to put her back on all the machines.
She is not breathing on her own & her lungs keep filling up with fluid.
They performed a tracheotomy on her yesterday which will be kept in her for at least 2 months.
She is incubated in isolation for the entire time.
She’s in a lot of pain and sedated on and off.
They have discovered a virus in her body & are doing their best to cure her of that.
They are trying to check to see if it is in her blood... we are still waiting for those results.
As her x-rays came back, they are not looking good.
Please send as many prayers as you can.
We really need to come together and stay strong for her.
Thank you everyone for being here & caring so much for my Mother.
