Help Rita Fight Ovarian Cancer

My Mom, Rita Kohn, was recently diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer on 10-7-2021 and quickly was admitted to begin treatment on 10-8-2021. Even though she started to have signs and symptoms months before diagnosis, Ovarian Cancer is extremely difficult to recognize due to the relative normalcy of the signs and symptoms associated with it. Due to the silent nature of this cancer it is rarely caught early, leading to very fast life changing decisions.

 

This is not the path my Mom ever thought she would be on, but she is the strongest woman I know and she is taking it head on. Although she is strong and has unwavering faith in God, this sudden change in her life journey and the significant financial burden that unfortunately comes with it has been an unexpected road block.
