Help restore for Non-profit group

Menīkānaehkem a grassroots community organization based on the Menominee Reservation in Northeast Wisconsin working to revitalize our communities. We are a group made up of people who are all working toward the same goal, Community Wellness!  Our love for our relatives is what drives our work and passion for the things that we do.


We are currently working toward restoring this property. Funds will be used to repair this old farm house that we will use for meetings and other gatherings.  Many things need attention like new flooring, upgrading bathrooms for Handicap accessibility, upgrading kitchen, repair stairway, heating and cooling units and other important tasks.  Funds are needed asap as we have begun restoration with what little we have and some good ole fashioned elbow grease. This property will help us work within the community as a whole by offering workshops and teachings that will include but not limited to, Food Sovereignty, Energy Sovereignty, Youth Organization, Environmental issues, etc.
