Help Replace Stolen Toys for Holiday Toy Drive

Hello, my name is Kristin Williamson and I sit on the Executive Board for the non-profit organization, Project Loose Change. For the past twelve years, we have held an Annual Holiday Toy Drive in Chicago and Harvey, IL and Munster, IN. Last year, we gave away close to 10,000 toys which were funded and/or donated by numerous local and nationwide organizations and companies such Boost Mobile, 5Below, etc.

 

Unfortunately on Sunday, November 28, 2021 thousands of dollars worth of donated toys were stolen during a robbery of the Boost Mobile retail location on the southside of Chicago located at 91st and Commercial where the toys were being temporarily stored.

 

The toy drive is scheduled for December 18th and 19th, where we planned to donate toys to hundreds of underprivileged families in both Illinois and Indiana. However, we are now without any toys!

 

We are asking for both monetary and toy donations so that we can continue our annual efforts to help underprivileged families and their children have a happy and abundant holiday.
