Help Replace Stolen Homeless Supplies

A few years ago, Stonewall Sports Charlotte donated a trailer for Block Love Charlotte to use in supporting the homeless population in Charlotte. This week - that trailer was stolen from their storage location, along with $2500 worth of donated tents, sleeping bags, clothes and other critical items inside the unit.

BLC has used this trailer every day for the past several years to get critically needed supplies out to our homeless brothers and sisters. This theft has crippled their ability to operate efficiently and effectively (although they are still loading supplies in backseats, trunks, etc. and doing their best).

All in all, Block Love Charlotte is out $5400 (trailer) + $2500 in supplies. The custom shelving inside of the trailer was donated. However, they are unsure if the company that provided the materials last time is able to again. Plus, you have to factor in registration costs, etc.

Unfortunately, they were in between insurance policies - and the trailer was not covered under a theft policy.
