Help Rebuild TaliBowls After the Tino Typhoon Flood in Cebu

Hi everyone, my name is Elis, and I’m creating this fundraiser for my close friend and long-time inspiration, Klause, the owner of TaliBowls—a small healthy smoothie bowl and salad spot in Talisay, Cebu.

TaliBowls isn’t just another food place. It’s one of the very few businesses in the area promoting healthy, plant-based eating using fresh fruit, superfoods, and eco-friendly packaging. My friend has always believed that people deserve better options than fast food, and he built TaliBowls from the ground up with his own hands and relentless hard work.

Unfortunately, the recent Tino typhoon brought severe flooding to Cebu, and Talisay was hit hard. While the building’s walls survived, everything inside the shop was destroyed: appliances, inventory, packaging, tools, equipment—everything he needs to operate.

My friend didn’t ask for help.
On the very next day after the typhoon, he was already standing in mud wearing rubber boots, cleaning up what was left. That’s the kind of person he is—dedicated, committed, and always working multiple jobs just to keep his small business alive.

But starting again from zero after such disaster is just too much for any one person.

I am organizing this GoFundMe because he deserves support.
Because he has already given everything—time, effort, passion—to provide healthier food choices to his community and even the strongest people need a little help to get back up.

This fundraiser will go directly toward restoring TaliBowls so it can reopen and continue fueling a healthier community.

✅ How Your Help Will Be Used:

Below is an estimate of what’s needed to restore:

- Chest Freezer — ₱35,000
- Showcase Chiller — ₱28,000
- Professional Blender — ₱10,000
- Eco-Friendly Packaging (bowls, cups, lids, spoons) — ₱8,000–₱12,000
- Kitchenware (cutting boards, knives, utensils, prep containers) — ₱5,000–₱8,000
- Replacement Food Stock (fresh fruit, superfoods, bases) — ₱10,000–₱15,000
- Cleaning & Repair Materials (disinfectants, paint, minor repairs) — ₱3,000–₱5,000
- Labor & Recovery Costs (manual cleanup/repair assistance) — ₱5,000–₱8,000

Estimated Total: ₱104,000–₱121,000 --> approx 1500 Euros

For this reason, I’ve set the goal at 1500Eur, a realistic amount which will cover the essentials to restart operations.

Every contribution, whether large or small (think of it as the price of a virtual smoothie bowl!), brings TaliBowls closer to reopening and gives a hardworking entrepreneur a second chance.

Thank you so much for your kindness and support. Let's help Klause rebuild!
