HELP RAY AND HIS KIDS WITH HIS CANCER BATTLE
Beschermde donatie
I'm Bill Henders, downstairs neighbor to Raymond Carroll, the neighborhood handyman, friend, and father of two amazing children. Ray is the first one to offer a hand when someone needs help, and now he needs our help.
Ray has been diagnosed with esophageal cancer. He's been hospitalized since Thanksgiving, and he will be there much longer, until he's strong enough for chemotherapy. I'm sure we all understand the struggle that will be--that alone is going to be very tough. Add the costs of a month-long hospital stay, no income during that time and two teenage children to take care of, and Houston, we have a problem.
As most of you know, Ray is a widower and the sole provider for his children. His sister and brother-in-law have been amazing, stepping up to the plate and taking great care of Dermott and Katie. Now it's time for all of us to step up to the plate. This is about more than finances. Ray needs to feel the love of his friends and neighbors as he regains strength and tackles this crisis. Let's make this a story about hope, support and healing.
I remember last winter, Ray was the first outside and the last one in, helping neighbors get out of the snow. Now it's time we helped dig him out. Please donate generously, and help Ray and his family get through this difficult time.
