For nearly seven years...

She didn't have a name.

She was CTU9.

A tattoo in her ear.

WIAE tattooed on her belly.

She was one of the breeding beagles inside the Ridglan Farms laboratory facility.

She spent nearly seven years living on concrete and wire kennel flooring, producing litter after litter of puppies.

She didn't know what it meant to belong to a family.

She didn't know that a bed could be hers.

That toys could belong to her.

That hands could reach for her simply because she was loved.

On May 2, 2026, Princess Peach walked out of that facility.

For the first time in nearly seven years...

...she felt the sunshine.

And on June 6, 2026...

She finally came home.

We believed we were bringing home a little beagle who simply needed patience, safety, and unconditional love.

We had no idea how much her tiny body had endured.

Underneath the sweet little girl who was slowly learning how to be a dog...

...was a body desperately crying out for help.

Since coming home, Princess Peach has battled:

• Severe bacterial, fungal, and yeast infections affecting all four paws.

• Bilateral yeast ear infections.

• Extensive dental disease requiring multiple extractions.

• Multiple tumors requiring surgery and pathology.

• A severe bladder infection.

• Chronic pain.

• Severe environmental allergies.

• One of the most extensive environmental allergy panels our veterinary team has ever seen.

We've celebrated victories, too.

Her ear infections have cleared.

The fungal and yeast infections in her paws have resolved.

Her tumors came back benign.

But our journey is far from over.

Today, Princess Peach continues to battle a resistant bacterial infection in her paws, worsening allergic skin disease, chronic inflammation, severe pain, and an immune system that has been through more than any dog should ever have to endure.

Every time we think we're finally turning a corner...

...something new reminds us that nearly seven years inside a laboratory left scars we couldn't see.

Just this week alone, she has required emergency rechecks because of increasing pain, vomiting, worsening skin disease, swelling, loss of appetite, and complications from her dental surgery.

She is now on two antibiotics after culture and sensitivity testing identified multiple bacteria, including one resistant to her original medication.

She requires prescription food.

Pain management.

Ongoing bloodwork.

Frequent rechecks.

And she's preparing to begin lifelong allergen-specific immunotherapy.

Those allergy injections are our greatest hope.

But they can take three to six months before they begin helping.

Until then...

We're simply trying to keep her comfortable while continuing to search for answers.

When Princess Peach came home...

We didn't hesitate.

We emptied our savings.

We borrowed money.

We said yes to every emergency visit.

Every surgery.

Every medication.

Every diagnostic test.

Every culture.

Every recommendation.

Because she deserved every chance to heal.

As of today, Jason and I have personally paid more than $6,000 toward Princess Peach's veterinary care.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of all of you, another $4,000 has gone directly to her veterinary team through her GoFundMe.

Because we've been prepaying her veterinary care whenever possible so treatment is never delayed, we're already about halfway through those donated funds.

Peach's journey isn't over.

She still needs:

• Ongoing medications

• Repeat bloodwork

• Frequent veterinary rechecks

• Prescription hydrolyzed food

• Lifelong allergen-specific immunotherapy

• Continued treatment for her resistant bacterial paw infection

• Potential advanced diagnostics, including a paw biopsy and evaluation by a veterinary dermatologist if she doesn't continue improving

Because these conditions all existed before Princess Peach became ours, pet insurance considers every one of them pre-existing conditions.

None of her treatment is covered.

As a disabled veteran family, asking for help is incredibly difficult.

We've always believed in carrying our own burdens.

But Princess Peach has taught us something beautiful.

Healing sometimes takes a village.

So many of you have asked,

"How can we help Peach?"

After a lot of thought...

This is our answer.

Every donation goes directly toward Princess Peach's veterinary care.

Her medications.

Her diagnostics.

Her prescription food.

Her immunotherapy.

Her specialty care.

Every single dollar gives us the ability to keep saying "yes" when our veterinary team recommends the next step.

If you aren't able to donate...

Please consider sharing her story.

A share costs nothing.

But it could reach the one person we never would have found on our own.

When Princess Peach came home...

We made her a promise.

That she would never suffer alone again.

That promise has never changed.

We will continue showing up.

We will continue fighting.

We will continue loving her with everything we have.

We're simply asking for help making sure we can continue saying "yes" when she needs us most.

Princess Peach doesn't know she's a former laboratory beagle.

She only knows she has bedtime kisses.

A favorite Snuggle Puppy she carries everywhere.

A bed that's hers.

Four rescue feline brothers who love her.

Parents who would move heaven and earth for her.

And people from all over the world who cheer for her every single day.

For nearly seven years...

She was CTU9.

Today...

She is Princess Peach Hope Grace.

She is our daughter.

She is our family.

She is our whole world.

We can't give Princess Peach back the seven years that were taken from her.

But with your help...

We can fight to make every year she has ahead of her everything those first seven should have been.

From the bottom of our hearts...

Thank you for believing in her.

Thank you for loving her.

Thank you for praying for her.

Thank you for sharing her story.

And thank you for helping us fight for our little girl.

With endless gratitude,

Kim-Anne, Jason & Princess Peach Hope Grace

Once she was CTU9.

Today she is Princess Peach Hope Grace.

Tomorrow... we're fighting to make sure she gets to keep writing the rest of her story.
