Dasaratha Suta das has spent the last 55 years serving the sastras and the devotees, by collecting and translating Vaishnava scriptures that would otherwise remain unknown to us. He can read and translate from five languages, and instead of getting university degrees and retirement benefits, he has given all his time to the service of Sri Sri Guru and Gauranga. Dasaratha Suta das is a gifted Sanskrit translator and maintains a large collection of ancient and rare Sanskrit texts. He is well known for his expertise in flute making and flute playing. He is an artist, a scholar and an ascetic.

He sustains himself on a meager income, food stamps and Medicare benefits.

He has been living on the Alachua Temple property in a substandard converted shed . When the Temple began working with Alachua County to bring our infrastructure into compliance with county codes, we were not allowed to keep the shed conversion he is living in.

Dasaratha Suta prabhu needs to relocate his flute factory bus, his books storage unit, and himself.

Second generation and longtime New Raman Reti member J.R. prabhu has offered him a place on his land for an RV, his bus and his storage trailer. It is just a couple of miles from the temple. Here he can be near friendly neighbors who have known him for many years, and continue to get the benefit of the Devotee Care team from our temple.

One of our devotees has a nice R.V. he can sell for $12,000. Our temple maintenance crew can do some needed fixes on it and will arrange the hook up at J.R.'s. property, which may cost up to $3,000.
