Penny is a Maine Coon mix who has been a beloved part of my life for the past two to three years. She’s the kind of cat who brings light to everyone’s day, always seeking out pets and scratches, and often becoming the center of attention in our home. While she can be a handful at times, her playful spirit and affectionate nature have made her a cherished companion to me and my family.

Recently, Penny faced a sudden health crisis. After a visit to urgent care for what seemed like a urinary tract infection, the veterinarians discovered free fluid in her uterus. She was diagnosed with pyometra, a serious and potentially life-threatening condition that requires emergency surgery. Right now, Penny is stable and on antibiotics, but she’s experiencing pain in her belly and needs to have the surgery as soon as possible to ensure her recovery and well-being.

I’m raising funds to help cover the cost of Penny’s emergency spay surgery, as well as any additional expenses that may come up during her recovery.
