Help Pay Tribute to Blake & his Family

Hi my name is Jamie Maharrey, I am Blake Maharrey’s sister-in-law and I am writing this in hopes to raise money for my brother-in-law’s funeral costs and any other expenses needed to help his widow, unborn child, and family through this very difficult time. Blake recently passed away in a tragic work related accident on October 12th, 2021.

Blake was a 28 years young elevator mechanic. A loving Son, Brother, Friend, Husband, Future Father, and Military Veteran who served our Country for 5 years. He recently just got married to his Beautiful wife Alexa , and just announced that they are expecting their 1st child come February of 2022. Blake spent his time here with us being a big hearted, kind soul, that would do anything for anyone! He was loyal, honest, and truly touched everyone’s heart that had the pleasure of meeting him, especially his family which was his truest passion. Those that truly know Blake knew how much his wife, Alexa, meant to him and the amount of love he had for her. Blake was super excited to become a father and expressed his greatest accomplishment was creating both a part of him and her. Both Blake and Alexa’s plan was for Alexa to be a stay at home mother and raise their son while Blake worked to provide for them. Due to the tragedy this week, the light of this dream Blake had for his family is fading.
