Help pay fo Stella’s meds & homeschooling

Hi there, Stella is my grand-niece. She has ITP - immune thrombocytopenic purpura - a mouthful but basically she doesnt make enough platelets for her blood to clot. This means she is not allowed to go to school or run and jump like other 7 year olds. She bleeds often and spends a lot of time in hospital without complaining. She has not responded to conventional therapy (high dose steroids) and so they want to try a new drug called Rituximab but it is very expensive in South Africa and there is a good chance the medical aid will not approve it so Jax will have to pay herself. I think she would have a good chance of responding to this new drug. She also needs a good teacher to come and teach her at home to allow Jax to go back to work. So i have set up this fund to see if we - family and friends - can provide some financial support to try to get Stella on the road to recovery. Since GoFundMe is not registered in SA the funds will come to me in the UK and i will transfer to Jax. I will keep you updated on progress. Thanks for reading this.
