Help Paula Fight Cervical Cancer!

Hi, my name is Anna Simoneaux. My mom, Paula Bartos Young (also known as Umma to her grandchildren and many others) was diagnosed with cervical cancer in April 2023. For anybody who knows my mother, they know what an incredible woman she is. Through her years, she has made a positive impact on so many. She has always managed to take care of others before herself. She is the absolute glue to our family.

Unfortunately, cancer comes with a significant financial burden. I am fundraising in effort to help my mother with various expenses. My mother will have to undergo chemotherapy and radiation as treatments to shrink and eradicate her tumor, as well as urology treatments due to involvement of the urinary system. We will be allocating funds towards her treatment, as well as for living expenses. My mother's team of physicians is located in Akron, so funds will be utilized for travel. Additionally, we are hoping to raise enough for basic living expenses, as it is unlikely that my mom will be able to work at her beloved place of employment, House Doctors Window and Door, for the time being.
