Help Pastor Randy and His Family Through This Crisis

Hi, my name is Angela, and I’m writing on behalf of my dad, Randy, who pastors a small church in Grand Prairie, TX. My dad is one of the most generous, and loving people I know. He has dedicated his life to helping others, offering support to anyone in need with a kind heart and a big smile. He’s funny, outgoing, and thoughtful, always quick to make someone laugh or lend a helping hand.

On October 1st, my dad went in for a pretty straight-forward surgery, but when he left the hospital on the 3rd his pain was not under control. He thought he needed to give the meds more time to work so tried to get some rest. The next day his pain was even worse so my mom took him into the ER. Shortly after getting there, he coded and went into multi-organ failure. He is currently on life support and we’re waiting for more information before making the very painful decisions that need to be made. In the meantime, medical debt is piling up quickly and my dad is the primary bread-winner, so my mom is facing some significant financial stress.

We’re setting up this fundraiser to help cover both immediate and long-term expenses. The immediate need is to help my mom with day-to-day living expenses while she focuses on making these impossible decisions. Long-term, she’s looking at mounting medical bills.
