On the morning of September 6, 2026, our family lost Paris Carlock in a sudden and unimaginable tragedy. Paris was only 55 years old and was working his early morning shift as a Frito Lay employee, conducting product inventory at Sam’s Club, when a stray bullet from a fight at a nearby lounge traveled through the store’s metal wall and struck him.

But the circumstances of Paris’s death are only a small part of his story. Paris was a devoted father, a brand new grandfather, a son, a brother, a friend, and a coworker. He was genuinely one of the kindest people you could meet. He was the kind of person who could get along with anyone, always had a joke to tell, and loved making people laugh.

Above everything else, Paris loved his daughters. He worked incredibly hard to provide for them, often working more than one job, and at the time of his passing he was working toward helping his youngest daughter get her first car.

Paris had also recently become a grandfather to a beautiful baby boy. His daughter Kayla was planning to visit him this weekend so that Paris could meet his grandson for the very first time. Heartbreakingly, they will never get to have that moment together.

Paris’s parents, siblings, daughters, extended family, friends, and coworkers are devastated by this sudden loss. There are simply no words for what it feels like to lose someone you love without warning.

We created this fundraiser to help with funeral and memorial expenses and, most importantly, to provide support for Paris’s daughters as they grieve the loss of their father and navigate the difficult days ahead. If you knew Paris, you already know how much love, laughter, and kindness he brought into the lives of the people around him. If you never had the privilege of knowing him, we hope you will remember him not for the tragedy that took his life, but for the good man, loving father, and hardworking person he was.

Any contribution, no matter the amount, will help. If you are unable to donate, sharing Paris’s story and this fundraiser means just as much to our family. Thank you for your prayers, your kindness, and for standing beside Paris’s girls as they mourn their dad.

Rest peacefully, Paris. You were deeply loved, and you will be deeply missed.
