I am Pablo Gutierrez. I had a workplace injury back in December. I caught a large insulated shop door that we were trying to lower for the night. The cables were tangled, and the door got stuck. Another employee cut the wires and lost their grip while helping hold the door. The door came down, and I caught it, but it did go all the way to the floor. The coworkers had to lift the door from my arms so I could get out. The door is anywhere between 200-400 lbs according to another worker. Since then, workers' comp has decided that I am healed and dumped me. They never bothered doing testing or scans of my back and just said it was healed. We have been applying and trying to meet the needs for state benefits, but haven't gotten any assistance for rent, utilities, phone, or insurance. We are thankful for our families who have helped thus far, but they can't take on our financial burden anymore.

For now, we are looking to just get money for this month's past due rent and upcoming bills. Hopefully, we will have our benefits sorted out for next month. During my initial injury, I kept trying to work as we had a baby due in June and couldn't risk losing money. Well, this was a mistake. I lost hundreds of hours of work due to not being physically able to work to my full capacity and keep up. Workers' comp decided that I don't deserve back pay for my over 120 lost hours of work when I was still working part-time, and again they decided I was healed using a 3rd party doctor who only played patty cake with my hands and feet before saying my back was healed. If you can't donate, but are looking for a fix up car i have a 2007 jetta 5 cylinder 5 speed for sale, it will need a transmission in the future.

Again, all we are asking for is some assistance as we transition into a new lifestyle with my current disability and our newborn baby born June 11th, 2025. Any help is appreciated.
