Ozone Park Residents Block Association van stolen
On Thursday, July 29, 2021, our van was targeted and stolen. The van was used to pick up medical equipment, toys, food, bring our stuff from one event to another event, and for various community events and fundraisers.
Our van was/is the lifeline of the committed volunteer work we all do for our communities. Whoever stole the van thought they would stop us and the work we do. But we will not stop. . We are not funded and we do this all from private donations or from donations from the volunteers. NO ONE is paid and no one benefits from this work. We do it because we are motivated by the blessings we receive from the good work we do from our higher power called God. We love giving back to the community as well as helping our fellow human beings in need

-And distributed masks, sanitizer, food, gloves, to hospitals, first responders, and the communities we represent.
- pantry allowed families to have a roof and food without having to choose between their bills and food on the table.
We have done what no politician before and now could have ever dreamed of. We brought together the Bengali, Black, Caribbean, Chinese, Guyanese, Hispanic, White, Catholics, Christians, Hindus, Jewish, Muslim, female, male, old, young, gay, and straight communities to learn how to have a dialogue together and live amongst our communities with one another. We also are proud that everyone is learning the different cultures and religions of these very diverse neighborhoods.
