To the Tampa Bay Triathlon and Swim Community, Leo and his mom were involved in a head-on collision yesterday morning on his way to the office. Leo sustained multiple fractures and has been stabilized and through his first surgery, but it is going to be quite the road back to recovery. Thankfully his brain is fully 'with it' and he is strong and resilient according to his healthcare team (so very Leo). It is with an incredibly heavy heart to let you know that his mom Irma did not make it through the crash.

It goes without saying that there is a lot to process and work through right now. He now has to deal with uninsured medical bills, replacing his totaled jeep, being out of work for an undetermined amount of time with no medical insurance, and dealing with the arrangements for his beloved mother.

Leo has been there with a smile and total commitment for all of us in our "One Community". He has shown us the Love by his many actions and commitments over the years. Let us now show Leo and Coral what they mean to us in their time of need.
