Hi! My name is Stephanie Linares. I am fundraising to support Daniel and his two brothers, Luis and Miguel who were detained by ICE.
This has been one of the hardest moments we’ve faced. They were detained on September 24, 2025 from their home and separated into different facilities. Daniel is in one facility alone meanwhile Luis and Miguel are in another one 2 hours away. Their families are not here in the U.S. and are unable to step in, which means they don’t have the support system that many of us take for granted during a crisis.
While they are being held, they have lost their apartment and bills are continuing to arrive, the cost of staying in contact with them is adding up, and on top of that, there is a lot of legal expenses as they fight their cases. We’ve been helping however we can, but the financial burden has become overwhelming, and we can’t do this alone.
Your donations will go 100% directly toward covering:
- Legal fees : documentations needed, translations fees (which they have already paid about $13k and we are still missing to pay)
- Communication costs while detained
- Support their family in their country

¡Hola! Mi nombre es Stephanie Linares. Estoy recaudando fondos para apoyar a Daniel y a sus dos hermanos, Luis y Miguel, quienes fueron detenidos por ICE.
Este ha sido uno de los momentos más difíciles que hemos enfrentado. Fueron detenidos el 24 de septiembre de 2025 en su hogar y separados en diferentes centros de detención. Sus familias no están aquí en los Estados Unidos y no pueden intervenir, lo que significa que no cuentan con el sistema de apoyo que muchos damos por hecho en tiempos de crisis.
Mientras están detenidos, han perdido su apartamento y las cuentas siguen llegando. Además, el costo de mantenerse en contacto con ellos sigue aumentando, y a esto se suman los gastos legales que enfrentan mientras luchan por sus casos. Hemos estado ayudando en todo lo posible, pero la carga financiera se ha vuelto abrumadora y no podemos hacerlo solos.

- Gastos legales: documentación necesaria, tarifas de traducción (ya han pagado aproximadamente $13k y todavía nos falta por pagar).
