My name is Penny and I own Pooch Palace in Uxbridge. Many of you know I am a dedicated Bahama Humane Society supporter and right now they need our help more than ever.
Covid 19 has swept the Bahamas with a vengeance and has left many families with the decision to care for their families or care for their animals. They have had to make the toughest decision to surrender their animals to the Humane society as a last attempt at ensuring their lives have a chance. The problem is many of these animals have needs and the BHS has been inundated with up to 50 dogs per pay and due to the pandemic they struggling to keep them healthy and give them preventative and emergency care.
Normally I would collect food, supplies and medicine and deliver it all myself with the help of my pooch posse however with the pandemic we are grounded to stay put so I am reaching out to all you animal lovers to help me raise money to get them the help they need.
