My name is Imam Masri, and I am organizing this fundraiser on behalf of my friend Kariem and his family in Gaza, at their request. I am volunteering my time to help them receive support during one of the most difficult periods of their lives.
Kariem and his family consist of 10 people: his parents, his wife Mariam, his siblings Muhammad, Nada, and Dima, as well as his sister Suzan and her two young children.
Their home was bombed and destroyed, forcing the family to find rented accommodation at a cost of $800 per month. After losing their home and their sources of income, meeting even the most basic daily needs has become an ongoing struggle. Rent, food, clean water, medicine, and other essential expenses are a constant financial burden for a family of ten.
Their mother continues to struggle with health problems and needs access to medication. Their youngest sister, Dima, has also been deeply affected by the war. She continues to experience fear and panic after everything she has witnessed, and the emotional impact of the war remains a daily challenge.
The family has endured displacement, the destruction of their home, and the loss of financial security. They are now doing everything they can to maintain a roof over their heads and provide food, medicine, and basic necessities for their children and parents.
I am managing this fundraiser on their behalf and receiving donations to help cover their essential living expenses. Because direct transfers into Gaza are extremely difficult, funds must be delivered through available intermediaries, whose availability may vary. Our priority is to ensure that the support reaches the family and helps meet their urgent needs.
Every contribution, no matter the size, can help the family pay their rent, put food on the table, obtain essential medication, and face another day with a little more security.
If you are unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser can also make a meaningful difference.
Thank you for standing with this family and helping them survive under these extremely difficult circumstances.
