Hey there! My name is Olesya, and I came from Ukraine four years ago to study for a bachelor's degree in Christian Media Ministry at Hartland College, and now I am interning at the Little Light Studios (a Seventh-Day Adventist ministry in TN). I've learned a lot at school, and now I get to use it in real projects, exposing Hollywood and sharing the gospel. I'm passionate about making Jesus famous through digital evangelism and use media to "package" the gospel in an attractive way to reach non-adventist people, and especially the youth!

I only started the internship a month ago and am already involved in the production of social media videos and more—all things that I'm passionate about! Although this stopped being so easy last week when I got into a car accident that left my car completely totaled. I had liability only insurance, because I couldn't afford better insurance. But that does mean that the insurance company won't cover the costs of the car.

Now I need to depend on other people to give me a ride, which adds another 30 extra minutes for a coworker each day. Being an intern limits opportunities to make money, and even with some opportunities, I wouldn't be able to replace my car in a short time.

I’m passionate about canvassing and having a car would also allow me to freely do it after work so I can spread God's Word. I also participate in homeless ministry and have applied to do prison ministry as well. It wouldn’t just allow me to get to work, but I see it as a ministry, as well as going to church, Bible study groups, canvassing and other daily errands without being dependent on others.
