Hello all! My name is Nykia. I am a 24-year-old Black queer creative and non-profit advocate. Recently, I lost my job due to grant fund cuts. I am securing a new job where I can continue to fulfill my passion - providing mental health resources to underserved youth.

Right now, I am working in a temporary position as a receptionist. I am making much less than I used to, and I am afraid I will not be able to pay any bills, pay for my jaw surgery and now pay for a car. to I have to use my entire check from this temporary job to cover my rent. If you would be so kind as to help me pay my remaining bills, jaw surgery expenses and to help me buy another car I would greatly appreciate it. I have managed to get this far in life without debt. Unfortunately, I had to take out two loans to cover expenses while my non-profit job was not paying me correctly for 7 MONTHS. Please give whatever you can so that I may make it through another month. I must admit I never thought I would be in these circumstances; however, I am putting my faith into my communities and swallowing any pride or stigma associated with asking for help.
