Help Nicole pay off medical bills due to a stroke

Hey all. I am trying to get rid of my medical bills from the Stroke I suffered on January 22, 2020.

I'm coming to my 2nd anniversary of the scariest day of my life. I woke up fine but soon realized something was wrong with me. I couldn't figure out my phone so that I couldn't call anyone. I don't know what I did, but I finally made an emergency call for an ambulance. I knew my mom or sister would not be able to help me. Unfortunately, when the dispatch answered the call, I couldn't answer two simple questions...what is your emergency and the address you are calling from. I have no idea if she could even understand what I was trying to say. Finally, the ambulance got here & took me to Methodist Hospital & ran me through many tests. It was discovered that I had suffered a stroke & they were going to send me to Mercy Hospital for brain surgery to have the clot removed.

At this point, I didn't know who people were (mom or sister) & had paralysis on the right side of my body. I remember going to MercyOne but nothing more for a day or so. When I did start remembering, I struggled with what things were. Watches, pens, family members. But I had regained all motor skills. And after three days in intensive care & 2 days on the neurology floor. I was sent home. I was lucky that I was allowed to recover with my mother. She endured my anger & struggles with what I had suffered. Rehabilitation was filled with many tears and figuring out Covid-19. The On With Life Rehabilitation facility was so kind.

When this happened, I was unemployed due to the company I had been working for relocating the location to Kansas City. This being said means no insurance, and I am swimming with debt.

I have been fighting, unsuccessfully, for disability. I find it very hard to ask for help, but anything you can do would help me get ahead. So I want to thank you all in advance.
