Hi family and friends,

In early April, my dad went to the hospital for gallstones and came out with a cancer diagnosis.

Before I say anything else, I want to start by telling anyone who has had to walk the cancer journey with a loved one that I am so sorry, and I am praying for you. Walking through this has been unlike like anything I’ve ever experienced. I have seen God’s goodness, love and overwhelming peace and joy in the midst of it, but it is a journey I wish on no one. I regularly pray for those who are walking it out. If you know me personally, please reach out if you ever need someone to stand with you in prayer, to sit with in silent tears, to help navigate becoming a medical expert overnight, or anything else. Without knowing your name, I have prayed for you with the greatest empathy and compassion. You are not alone ♥️

After two months of trying to get more information on my dad’s large mass, a treatment plan has been determined. My dad is the sole provider financially in his home and I genuinely can’t fathom trying to think about finances when the first thing they tell you before chemo is that your emotional state is of the highest importance when going through it. If you’d be willing to help, in any way, to carry some of the financial burden for my dad in this season it would mean the world to me and my family. This isn’t even really about medical bills yet, but simply about helping pay for daily/weekly/monthly needs over the next several weeks so he can have any time off from work he needs and not have the weight of financial responsibilities.

I thank you from the bottom of my heart for any and every prayer, any and every text and encouragement, and every and any cent. I feel the love and support, and I can see that God is hard at work in the most beautiful way.
