Here is a little background on Nichole. Nichole was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer, a more rare type of breast cancer, on January 23rd, 2019. Only about 20% of all breast cancer diagnoses are TNBC. Her cancer started on the right side only before it spread. Sadly there are no targeted treatments for this rare type of Breast Cancer. We anticipated Nichole a year of IV chemotherapy, double mastectomy, and radiation. We thought she would be back to work within a year. Sadly, that wasn't the case for Nichole. After surgery, they knew this cancer was super aggressive and proliferating. She had 30 nodes removed during surgery in and surrounding the right breast, arm, and shoulder area, of which 18 of those tested positive for cancer. She had a biopsy done under her right breast, and unfortunately, it came back as TNBC yet again. She was started on chemotherapy again, and she had complete loss of two of three significant nerves and almost total loss of the third. The pain was unreal for her.

There are still no answers on what exactly caused this. Her body is becoming weaker and weaker. Up to this point, she has been taking care of her three children and supportive husband.  Her platelets are currently being killed by her liver and her family is now looking into hospice.
