Help Nat Fight Breast Cancer
Spende geschützt
Our little sister, Nat-Mum of 2 gorgeous boys, fiancé to Matt, has been diagnosed with Stage 2 Breast Cancer. As many of you who have had loved ones diagnosed with this terrible disease, or have had breast cancer, would understand, it’s incredibly surreal, shocking & difficult to absorb. Our world as we know it has completely changed, especially for Nat & her family.
Nat underwent a lumpectomy & sentinel node biopsy a few weeks ago. Going into surgery they thought from previous scans the cancer was no more than 2cm, unfortunately this all changed when the results of surgery came back, her cancer tumour was a large 7cm & carried LCIS - this abnormal cell growth increases a persons risk of developing invasive breast cancer again later in life. Nat will now go through 2 different strong types of Chemo, she will loose her hair & the many side effects are horrible.
After she is done with her rounds of chemo, she will then undergo 6 weeks of radiotherapy 5 days a week & then Hormone blockers for 5 to 10 years.
We are reaching out to you all, to raise money to help make this time as easy & stress free as it can possibly be for them all, so Nat can concentrate on the most important thing getting better!!
The multiple array of surgeon visits, surgeries, scans & treatments, come with significant out of pocket expenses.
We are also hoping to fund a Cold Cap, which will hopefully limit Nat’s hair loss.
Nat will be very limited with being able to work if at all & running her much loved entertaining business, put on hold due to her therapies, this will effect their family greatly & put loads of unnecessary pressure on them all.
Asking for help does not come naturally, or easy to Nat, or our whole family.
Nat has had amazing support by her school community, friends & family which we are forever thankful for.
Any donation to assist with medical, travel & living expenses, will be appreciated by Nat & her beautiful family.
Thank you so much for your love & support!!
Lots of love Sam & Rach - Nat’s older sisters xxx
