My sister and brother-in-law are facing an incredibly difficult time. Recently, my brother-in-law was detained by Immigration & Customs Enforcement, leaving my sister to care for their four children and manage all household responsibilities on her own. He has always been the primary provider for their family, and his absence has created a significant financial strain. The emotional and financial stress of this situation is overwhelming, and my sister is now responsible for covering both daily living expenses and the mounting legal costs associated with his case.

The primary reason for this fundraiser is to help cover the legal fees needed to secure my brother-in-law's release and support his immigration case. These costs can be substantial, often ranging from five to ten thousand dollars based on similar cases. In addition, any funds raised will also help my sister with essential expenses that my brother-in-law's income would have covered, such as rent, utilities, and caring for their children.
