Help My Sister Family Rebuild Their Home in Jamaica After Hurricane Melissa

Hello Everyone,

My name is Andrea, and I am humbly asking for your help to help my sister, her kids, and her mother get back on their feet. Earlier this year, my sister moved out, on her own, with her three children in a two bedroom boarded house. Shortly afterwards, devastation happened. Almost at the one year mark of her being on her own, someone broke into her house and started a fire while she was away visiting her mother. By the time she was able to get home everything was burned. She lost her kids clothes, furniture, and more. Nothing was able to be salvaged from the fire. Due to this tragedy, she had to move back with her mother along with her three kids.

Fast forward a few months later, devastation hit again. Hurricane Melissa hit Jamaica and left behind unimaginable damage. Unfortunately, my sister home was severely affected again. Once again, she lost most of what she owned from the storm . They are now trying to rebuild and recover from this heartbreaking loss.

I am starting this GoFundMe to help my family get their house back together — to replace what was lost and restore a safe place for them to live. Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a meaningful difference and go directly toward materials, repairs, and basic necessities.
